This book gives an introduction to the innovations and applications pursued in the field of enzyme technology using immobilization as a tool. The initial chapters give an introduction to enzymes and their immobilization techniques. The application part is discussed in details whereby immobilized enzymes have been used in production of therapeutics. Additionally, details have been given for application of immobilized enzymes in ELISA, as diagnostics and biosensors.

Mr. Bjorn John Stephan has completed M.Tech (Biotechnology) from Amity University Rajasthan in 2014. His interest is mainly in field of medical research and to attain specialization, he has completed projects in the area of cancer biology, enzymology and nanotechnology. As a result he already has reputed international publications to his credit.
