"Four Early Pamphlets" by William Godwin is a compilation of four public texts Godwin produced to comment on social issues. William Godwin was an English journalist, political philosopher and novelist. He is considered one of the first exponents of utilitarianism and the first modern proponent of anarchism. These pamphlets are: A Defense of the Rockingham Party, in Their Late Coalition with the Right Honorable Frederic Lord North, Instructions to a Statesman, An Account of the Seminary, and The Herald of Literature.
