The new recorder method by Barbara Hintermeier is aimed at young and adult beginners or false beginners on the descant recorder and can also be used for tenor recorder playing. Hintermeier explains the basics of recorder playing in an easygoing and comprehensible way, using many appealing pieces from various epochs and styles, while placing special emphasis on the pupils' own creativity. The accompanying CD contains both a demo and a play-along version of the pieces. In addition, many pieces have an accompanying piano part which can be downloaded and printed free of charge. Further pieces for different instrumentations can be found in the accompanying tune book. In Vol. 2, the pitch range is expanded to c, and the knowledge of music theory is deepened in a comprehensible way. Instrumentation: descant recorder and piano ad libitum
