This book describes the advanced developments in methodology and applications of NMR spectroscopy to life science and materials science. Experts who are leaders in the development of new methods and applications of life and material sciences have contributed an exciting range of topics that cover recent advances in structural determination of biological and material molecules, dynamic aspects of biological and material molecules, and development of novel NMR techniques, including resolution and sensitivity enhancement. The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Society of Japan was officially constituted on April 1st, 2002. The society promotes the basic and applied studies on nuclear magnetic resonance as well as enlightenment and instructional activity. The society also performs annually a necessary academic meeting and publication of the bulletin, and other service for the achievement. As a part of the activity of the society, it design publication of experimental approaches of NMR spectroscopy including application to life and material sciences.
